Linda Beaver Memorial Scholarship Application

To promote awareness of a career path as a construction financial manager/accountant or as one in service to the construction industry (e.g. Public Accountant, Insurance Representative, Banker) the Central Texas Chapter of CFMA has established a scholarship program

The 2021 Linda Beaver Memorial Scholarship is for $1,000. One will be awarded for the semester beginning in the fall of 2021.

A qualified candidate is any full-time student, as defined by the institution, in their junior year or beyond (or attained at least 60 credit hours) who had maintained a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better in the prior scholastic year. 

Candidates must be citizens of the United States.

Scholarship selection will be based first on the response to the questionnaire submitted by the qualified candidate.  Additional factors, such as the recommendation of the associated school official, financial need, past involvement with the construction industry, and other qualifications not identified here may be taken into consideration in making the final decision to award the scholarships.
